Actor Saif Ali Khan's arrest is inevitable after the mid-night
brawl at a posh restaurant in Mumbai when he allegedly
punched a man leaving him with a broken nose.
An FIR has been registered against Saif and his friends under
sections 325 (voluntarily causing grievous bodily harm) and
34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common
intent) of IPC.
Cops are currently looking for him, but the actor is
reportedly 'unreachable'.
"His (Saif's) arrest is inevitable as it is a cognizable offence,
but it is bailable," Assistant Commisssioner of Police Iqbal
Shaikh said, adding the actor can be enlarged on bail by the
police and will not have to approach the court for it.
However, Saif will have to surrender and be arrested before
the bail is granted.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Saif, who was
accompanied by fiancée Kareena Kapoor, her sister Karisma
and starlet Amrita Arora reportedly got into a fight with a
fellow diner at the Wasabi restaurant attached to the Taj
Mahal Palace and Hotel.
