Daruvu Movie Review Rating : 3.5
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has done it again, Sound Of Mass Resounds, Full Comic Entertainer with hyper doses of Mass.
Story Summary : Ravi Teja ( Bullet Raja ) is a Small Time crook who falls in love with Tapsee, Tapsee is the Neice of villain , the Villain develops a grudge and eliminates Ravi Teja. Ravi Teja was not supposed to die but due to the mistake of the Chitraguptudu he is killed in a accident by the Villain, since it was Yama’s mistake he is given an change to get back to earth and relive in the body of Corrupt Politician Ravinder and how he wins his love and settles his scores is the rest of the story.
Daruvu with a Tagline of Sound Of Mass lives up to the expectations, go to the theater with mass expectations and you will get paisa vasool mass entertainment. Usually Mass Movies do not convey a Moral Message, but Siva Succeed to Convey his Message with Laughter in a Convincing way.
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja as Bullet Raja is at his best and brings laughter through out the movie, the movie runs at a fast pace and enjoys you thoroughly.
Director Siva judged the Mass power of Ravi Teja and as his movies connect well with the mass audience and Siva exploited every bit of his mass prowess in the right way. It’s an age old story but the narration and presentation is new, convincing and refreshing.
The highlight of the movie is the comic satires on politics and politicians , and it’s brings good laughter in the theater.
The movie looks and feels very rich in content and the visuals are very good especially in the songs. Audio is good and has been carrying positive talk , Songs Picturization and locations are very good and are scenic. Taapsee did a good job and her performance is laudable , she is looking very gorgeous and brings in good glamor quotient.
Kaikala SatyaNarayana as Senior Yama and Prabhu as Junior Yama are entertaining and good ,MS Narayana as chitraguptudu is entertaining. Raghu Babu is Hilarious as a Fake Godman ( Swamy ).
There is a little bit of Graphics and is decent.
Jaya Sudha does a good job as a sincere and honest mother of Ravi Teja who wants her son to follow his Fathers’s foot Steps, Sobhan Babu is shown as the Late Father of Ravi Teja. The PhotoShop Image of Sobhan Babu and Ravi Teja together looks very convincing . Mother sentiment is brought in well and will workout well with the audience.
Ravi Teja justifies both the roles as a Politician and a small time crook, Vennella Kishore does his part well , Brahmanandam brings in good laughter as a Dance Teacher.
The Movie is targeted for the Mass Audience mainly but will work well with the Family Audience as well. Ravi Teja has a great mass following but also has a good Family Audience following , since there is no vulgarity or indecency Family Audience will also enjoy it. The Emotional quotient is also good enough and comes in the second half of the movie.
Daruvu is a Winner for Both Ravi Teja and Director Siva. Though there was very little publicity, marketing and promotions, but this movie will get a good word of mouth publicity and will attract audiences.
In Some scenes you will get the Tamil Nadu Mass Flavour, you can call it “Oora Mass” or “Natu Mass”, some might feel that hyper dose of mass, but as the title suggests “Sound Of Mass” definitely justifies it and there is plenty of it.
Summary Analysis : Daruvu Sound of Mass Resounds with Laughter.
